USI expands footprint in Tennessee

USI Insurance Services Inc. has acquired Full Service Insurance Agency Inc., USI said in a statement Monday.
Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
Franklin, Tennessee-based Full Service serves middle Tennessee, placing commercial insurance and employee benefits, the statement said. Full Service will assume the USI brand, according to a spokesman in an email, who added this establishes Valhalla, New York-based USI’s first office in the Nashville area.
Full Service has 21 employees, according to the spokesman.
USI is the eighth-largest broker of U.S. business, according to Business Insurance’s latest ranking.
USI has more than 7,000 employees in about 200 offices, according to the statement.
