CRC launches Insurisk line with catastrophe coverage

Wholesale and specialty broker CRC Group said Thursday it has a new brand name, Insurisk, for its exclusive products and has introduced new catastrophe coverage under that name with managing general underwriter AmRisc LLC.
CRC, which does business as CRC Insurance Services Inc., said it has created an exclusive partnership with Houston-based AmRisc to build new property products under the Insurisk name.
CAT+, the first new product with AmRisc under the Insurisk brand, which was introduced Thursday, provides up to $15 million in catastrophe coverage, according to the statement.
Also introduced, QSP+ is an exclusive quota share facility that provides follow-form coverage with up to 50% participation in primary and/or excess layers.
Additional products are also under development and will be released in coming months, according to the statement.
