Crawford names head of European operations

Kieran Rigby will lead Crawford & Co.’s European operations, the Atlanta-based claims management firm said Thursday.
Mr. Rigby replaces former CEO Mark Harman, Crawford said in a statement. A spokesman for the company had no further information on Mr. Harman’s departure.
U.K.-based Mr. Rigby was most recently CEO of GAB Robins U.K. Ltd., a role he has held since 2005, according to the statement.
He will lead Crawford throughout Europe, excluding the United Kingdom, the firm said.
“Kieran has very strong experience in leading large organizations in different countries, having served as the CEO of GAB Robins in the Republic of Ireland, Australia, Asia and the United Kingdom,” Ian Muress, Crawford’s CEO of Europe, Middle East, Africa and Asia-Pacific, said in the statement. “He has a solid track record of developing profitable operations. Together with his strong client orientation and his leadership skills, he is ideal to take Crawford forward.”
