NEW YORK—Willis Group Holdings P.L.C. has added management and professional liability products from Swiss insurer ACE Ltd. to its Insurance Noodle online price quote platform for small U.S. commercial accounts.
In a statement announcing the expanded offering, Willis North America, a unit of the London-based brokerage, said Insurance Noodle enables agents to submit online applications for immediate price quotes.
ACE’s Philadelpia-based small-business division, ACE Commercial Risk Services, joins six other insurers that also provide coverage to the online platform in areas such as general liability, auto liability and workers compensation, Willis said last week.
Insurance Noodle launched its quoting hub on July 5, signing up more than 1,000 agents in its first three weeks in operation, Willis said.
More enhancements to the network are being developed and a personal lines platform is expected to launch by year-end, Willis said in the statement.
