Molina Healthcare Inc. is set to lose a Medicaid contract in Virginia that it has held for eight years, which could impact its growth plans, Healthcare Dive reports. The state plans to award contracts to CVS Health Corp., Elevance Health Inc., UnitedHealthcare Inc., Sentara Healthcare, and Humana Inc. instead. This is a significant setback for Molina, as Medicaid contracts account for 80% of its annual revenue.
