The Oshkosh, Wis., Board of Education voted to self-fund its employee health insurance program for 2022, in a bid to slow the pace of cost increases compared with its current insured plan, reports the Oshkosh Examiner. Faced with projected double-digit annual rate increases for health insurance, Oshkosh officials hope to save money over time by moving away from the current carrier, Anthem Inc.
