BI’s Article search uses Boolean search capabilities. If you are not familiar with these principles, here are some quick tips.

To search specifically for more than one word, put the search term in quotation marks. For example, “workers compensation”. This will limit your search to that combination of words.

To search for a combination of terms, use quotations and the & symbol. For example, “hurricane” & “loss”.

Insurance agent fails to read fine print in bathroom policy

An insurance agent in a woman’s home for three hours signing her and her family up for policies was fired for using her bathroom, according to a story making the rounds on Reddit.

As user “Tosser_tin” relayed on the anonymous social media forum Reddit, in the “Antiwork” community page, the man was told by his boss that refusing coffee was against company policy — yet using the bathroom was excluded. The name of the company was not disclosed and the post has since been deleted.

As screenshots show, he wrote, “she offered me coffee (which our company says we ‘have to’ accept otherwise it would be rude) and I drank two.” Predictably, the need for the restroom followed and the client offered to let the author use the one in her home, as reported by the website Bored Panda, which explored the issue with a career coach, who called the ordeal ludicrous.

“It’s a shame that senseless rules and regulations sometimes mean more than common sense and normal decency,” she said.
