BI’s Article search uses Boolean search capabilities. If you are not familiar with these principles, here are some quick tips.

To search specifically for more than one word, put the search term in quotation marks. For example, “workers compensation”. This will limit your search to that combination of words.

To search for a combination of terms, use quotations and the & symbol. For example, “hurricane” & “loss”.

Kriss Barronton

AF Group, a Lansing, Michigan-based insurer that provides workers compensation and specialty insurance, said Monday that it has appointed Kriss Barronton chief operating officer, a newly created role.

Ms. Barronton will lead teams in business transformation, loss control, premium audit, service center and corporate underwriting.

Before joining AF Group, Ms. Barronton was automobile and international product line leader for San Antonio-based USAA Casualty Insurance Co.

AF Group has 2,300 employees, according to a spokeswoman.
