Health insurance company Humana Inc. and health care system Baptist Health have reached a multi-year agreement to reinstate Baptist Health Medical Group as in-network for Humana's customers, the Louisville Courier-Journal reports. From April 1, patients with Humana Medicare Advantage and commercial group accounts will be eligible for in-network benefits with Baptist Health Kentucky. The agreement follows failed negotiations last fall, which led to Humana-insured patients losing their in-network access to Baptist Health Medical Group providers.
