Ascot names regional excess casualty heads

Ascot Group Ltd. Monday announced four new hires in its U.S. excess casualty team.

Ashley Hofler Hunley was named vice president, Southeast. Based in Charlotte, she was most recently vice president with Great American Professional Insurance Services, according to an Ascot statement.

Erin Osborne was named vice president, Northeast. Based in New York, she was most recently managing director for excess casualty at Nationwide Mutual Insurance Co.

Shawna Hadjipateras was named vice president, West.  Based in San Francisco, she was most recently assistant vice president at Chubb Ltd., underwriting excess casualty for companies generating $1 billion or more in annual revenues.

Brian DelTufo was named vice president, construction product lead. Based in Boston, he was most recently an underwriting consultant with Liberty Mutual Insurance Co., where he worked on new and renewal casualty business for national construction accounts.

Jeff Canfield, Ascot U.S. head of casualty, said in the statement the new hires would help expand Ascot’s excess casualty business across the U.S.
