Talanx buys Liberty Seguros in Brazil for $1.5 billion

German insurer Talanx AG has completed its €1.38 billion ($1.51 billion) acquisition of Liberty Seguros SA business in Brazil via its subsidiary HDI International AG, Investing.com reported. The deal extends beyond Brazil, with pending acquisitions in Colombia, Ecuador, and Chile likely to be finalized in the initial half of 2024 after securing required regulatory approvals.
