Fusion names M&A exec for US

Fusion Americas, the U.S. operation of managing general agency Fusion Specialty Insurance Pty Ltd., said Thursday it has hired Natasha Richard, formerly with Great American Insurance Co., as senior partner, mergers and acquisitions.
Los Angeles-based Ms. Richard was previously divisional executive vice president at Great American.
Chicago-based Fusion Americas also named Renay Gosen as senior associate, M&A, and Michelle Yohe as senior associate, underwriting and legal operations support.
Ms. Gosen, based in New York, previously was a broker at Atlantic Global Risk LLC.
Ms. Yohe, based in Philadelphia, previously was a senior paralegal and contracts manager at Alterra Mountain Co.
Ms. Richard, Ms. Gosen and Ms. Yohe will report to Fusion CEO Michael Federer.
Fusion said the appointments strengthen its representations and warranties capabilities.
The MGA last year launched online mergers and acquisitions insurance in the U.S. for small and mid-size businesses.
