Marine war risk underwriters are taking stock of their exposure to the Israel-Hamas war as rates for ships trading to the region are poised to increase, TradeWinds reported. Brokers are anticipating a considerable rise in rates after the outbreak of the war. The Israel coastline is already a designated high-risk area, which prompts an extra war risk premium.
