Ascot hires executive vice president for marine

Ascot Group Ltd. said Tuesday that Pat Stoik will join as executive vice president, head of marine, Ascot U.S., effective Oct. 24.
Mr. Stoik, who will be based in New York, will report to Matt Kramer, Ascot U.S. CEO, the insurer said.
Mr. Stoik was most recently chief risk officer of Austin, Texas-based Overhaul Group Inc., an in-transit supply chain risk management company, where he was responsible for the company’s insurtech business strategy.
