Aon names Peiser head of commercial risk unit

Aon PLC on Monday named Joe Peiser CEO of commercial risk solutions, its main commercial insurance brokerage unit.
Previously, New York-based Mr. Peiser, who joined Aon from Willis Towers Watson PLC in 2021, was head of commercial risk for North America. He will report to Andy Marcell, CEO of risk capital at the brokerage.
He succeeds Lambros Lambrou, who was named CEO of Aon’s human capital division in May.
In addition, Aon named Paul Shedden to the newly created position of head of advanced risk analytics for the risk capital division. Previously, London-based Mr. Shedden was head of global and U.K. analytics for Aon’s reinsurance brokerage business.
Mr. Shedden joined Aon from Sompo International Ltd. last year.
