Aon names executives for risk, human capital operations

Aon PLC said Wednesday it has named two executives to new positions in its risk capital and human capital operations who will also continue for now in their current positions.
The broker said Andy Marcell has been named CEO of risk capital (commercial risk and reinsurance) and Lambros Lambrou has been named CEO of human capital (health, wealth and talent).
Mr. Marcell is now responsible for Aon’s risk capital capabilities as it expands the application of traditional reinsurance to its corporate client base and increases investment in predictive data modeling, Aon said in its statement.
Mr. Marcell has been New York-based CEO of Aon Reinsurance Solutions.
Mr. Lambrou is now responsible for the company’s combined human capital capabilities. He has been New York-based CEO of commercial risk solutions.
Aon said in its statement that the two will continue in their existing roles until they identify replacements in the new structure.
