McGill and Partners Wednesday said it has promoted Karl Hennessy to CEO of McGill Global Risk Solutions LLC, the brokerage’s U.S. insurance and reinsurance business.
Mr. Hennessy, who previously led McGill’s global specialty insurance teams in London, will relocate to New York, subject to visa approvals. His previous responsibilities will be taken over by the company’s chairman John Lloyd, a McGill statement said.
In addition, McGill named John Judice, who was previously a partner at the brokerage, president of the U.S. business. Warren Mula will remain chairman of the U.S. business, the statement said.
Nirali Shah, previously a partner in the brokerage’s financial lines team, was named head of U.S. directors and officers, the statement said.
In addition, Daisy Jackson, previously chief of staff, was named partner, business development, and will move to New York from London. Alyssa Gerardi was named as CEO Steve McGill’s chief of staff and has moved from New York to London.
McGill and Partners was formed by Steve McGill, longtime insurance executive and former group president of Aon PLC, in 2019.
