Marguerite Soeteman-Reijnen to leave Aon

Marguerite Soeteman-Reijnen will step down as chairman of the executive board of Aon Holdings B.V. on April 1.
Ms. Soeteman-Reijnen, who joined Aon as a trainee in 1990, has held various executive positions at Aon, including global chief marketing officer for Aon Inpoint. She was named chairman of Aon Holdings B.V., the Rotterdam, Netherlands-based holding company for various Aon entities in Europe and other international locations, in 2016.
In 2010, she was named one of the Business Insurance Women to Watch. Among other honors, in 2021, she was awarded the Ambassador J. William Middendorf II Award by the Netherland-America Foundation.
In a statement, Aon President Eric Andersen said Ms. Soeteman-Reijnen’s contributions to Aon will be celebrated at a “farewell symposium” later this year.
Ms. Soeteman-Reijnen said in the statement: “It is the right time to follow my curiosity for new dreams and new challenges.”
