BI’s Article search uses Boolean search capabilities. If you are not familiar with these principles, here are some quick tips.
To search specifically for more than one word, put the search term in quotation marks. For example, “workers compensation”. This will limit your search to that combination of words.
To search for a combination of terms, use quotations and the & symbol. For example, “hurricane” & “loss”.

Swiss catastrophe data provider Perils AG said that typhoon Nanmadol, which battered Japanese islands in September, has caused an estimated $773 million in insured losses – a figure lower than initially predicted, Reinsurance News reported. The lower-than-expected loss level can be attributed to Nanmadol’s track and the fact that the affected areas are frequently exposed to extreme weather events and therefore well prepared to withstand their impact.
