NFP Corp. has recruited former Willis Towers Watson PLC executive Matthew Hamel as a senior vice president in its complex risk solutions group in Canada.
Based in Calgary, Mr. Hamel will support the continued growth of NFP’s property/casualty business in Canada, focusing on energy and natural resources accounts, NFP said.
Mr. Hamel was previously a senior vice president at rival Willis Towers Watson in Canada, according to his LinkedIn profile.
He is the latest of several executives from Willis Towers Watson to join the New York-based brokerage.
NFP Corp. on Monday named Tracy Stopford, a former executive at Willis Towers Watson PLC, and Kara Tencellent, a former executive at Coverys, as managing directors of its property/casualty specialty team.
