Marsh hires health care exec from Aon

Marsh LLC said Wednesday that Gisele “Gigi” Norris has left Aon PLC to lead Marsh’s U.S. health care practice.
Ms. Norris, based in San Francisco, had served as the Western region health care leader and pandemic task force co-leader at Aon. At Marsh, she reports to Jeffrey Alpaugh, Marsh’s U.S. and Canada growth and industry leader.
She succeeds Mark Karlson, who will continue to serve and support Marsh’s health care clients and act as a subject matter expert for the managed care segment, according to a Marsh spokeswoman.
In October, Marsh LLC named former Aon PLC executive Eddie Albers to lead its U.S. life sciences practice.
