BI’s Article search uses Boolean search capabilities. If you are not familiar with these principles, here are some quick tips.

To search specifically for more than one word, put the search term in quotation marks. For example, “workers compensation”. This will limit your search to that combination of words.

To search for a combination of terms, use quotations and the & symbol. For example, “hurricane” & “loss”.

Risk Placement Services Inc., the wholesale brokerage operation of Arthur J. Gallagher & Co., has partnered with Munich Re Specialty Insurance to launch a program offering first dollar, low deductible coverage for public entities and special districts, it announced Tuesday.

The packaged insurance program includes standardized coverages, such as general, auto, law enforcement, public officials and employment practices liability, Risk Placement Services said in a statement.

This coverage can be supplemented by active shooter liability, special events, cyber liability and workers compensation, the statement said.

Program limits are as follows: property, up to $50 million any one location; equipment breakdown, up to $100 million any one location; auto liability, $1 million; general liability, $1 million each claim/$3 million aggregate; public officials liability, $1 million each claim/$3 million aggregate; crime, $500,000; and excess, $4 million/$4 million, with higher limits available.

“Law enforcement and public officers are under heightened scrutiny today, which has consequently led to greater exposures for their public entities,” Bob Lombard, area president, RPS-PNP, a national program administrator, said in the statement.
