To search specifically for more than one word, put the search term in quotation marks. For example, “workers compensation”. This will limit your search to that combination of words.

To search for a combination of terms, use quotations and the & symbol. For example, “hurricane” & “loss”.

Ice hockey team sues insurers for over $100 million in COVID BI losses

Canadian professional ice hockey team Calgary Flames LP has sued a consortium of six insurers for $125 million Canadian ($100.3 million) over losses related to the COVID-19 pandemic, Calgary Sun reported. The team has sued Westport Insurance Corp., Royal and Sun Alliance Insurance Company of Canada, Liberty Mutual Insurance Co., Aviva Insurance Co. of Canada, Northbridge General Insurance Corp., and Special Program Group Canada Inc., claiming that the pandemic and related restrictions caused significant losses which should be covered under the “all-risks” business interruption insurance policy they bought from the insurers.
