The threat of war between Russia and Ukraine is the biggest risk for insurers covering the 2022 Beijing Winter Olympics, WSAU reported citing Reuters. War between the two nations could result in team withdrawals, non-appearance of athletes or event cancelation, which could lead to insurance claims by broadcasters or other entities that suffer losses of any kind. COVID-19 also continues to be of concern for insurers.
