To search specifically for more than one word, put the search term in quotation marks. For example, “workers compensation”. This will limit your search to that combination of words.

To search for a combination of terms, use quotations and the & symbol. For example, “hurricane” & “loss”.

Washington regulators fine Makina Health for illegal insurance sales

Washington insurance regulators issued a $100,000 fine against Makina Health, a health-sharing plan provider based in Austin, Texas, for illegally selling employer health insurance plans to small businesses in Washington state, reports Big Country News. Washington’s insurance commissioner opened an investigation after receiving inquiries from two licensed insurance producers asking if Makina was authorized to sell employer group plans in the state.
