BI’s Article search uses Boolean search capabilities. If you are not familiar with these principles, here are some quick tips.

To search specifically for more than one word, put the search term in quotation marks. For example, “workers compensation”. This will limit your search to that combination of words.

To search for a combination of terms, use quotations and the & symbol. For example, “hurricane” & “loss”.

Bundled payment program for Connecticut workers

Connecticut has abandoned its fee-for-service program and introduced a bundled payments model for its state employees to help save healthcare costs, Becker’s Hospital Review reported. The bundled payments will first be available for 20 procedures and conditions, including knee replacement, colonoscopy and cataract surgery. To date, 180 providers in the state have committed to participate in the program and 50 more are expected to join before the end of this year.
