UK insurers could face $1.5 billion in COVID-19 claims

The Association of British Insurers expects U.K. insurers to receive around £1.2 billion ($1.5 billion) worth of COVID-19 pandemic-related claims, Artemis reports. However, the analyst said that the figure does not include losses falling to the Lloyd's of London. Of the amount, business interruption claims will account for £900 million, the ABI said.
