To search specifically for more than one word, put the search term in quotation marks. For example, “workers compensation”. This will limit your search to that combination of words.

To search for a combination of terms, use quotations and the & symbol. For example, “hurricane” & “loss”.

Zurich sets up new entity for general takaful business

Insurer Zurich Takaful Malaysia Berhad has transferred its general takaful business to a newly-incorporated entity according to the requirements of the country's Islamic Financial Services Act 2013, The Edge Markets reported. The insurer has appointed Zuhairi Ismail as chief executive of Zurich General Takaful Malaysia Berhad. Zurich Takaful said that the transfer covers employees, assets and liabilities, distributors and contracts with effect from June 1.
