BI’s Article search uses Boolean search capabilities. If you are not familiar with these principles, here are some quick tips.

To search specifically for more than one word, put the search term in quotation marks. For example, “workers compensation”. This will limit your search to that combination of words.

To search for a combination of terms, use quotations and the & symbol. For example, “hurricane” & “loss”.

Beazley's property insurance premiums rise nearly 30%

U.K.-based insurer Beazley P.L.C.'s property insurance premiums grew nearly 30% year over year in the first quarter driven by an average rate increase of 8% and high catastrophe frequency, Artemis.bm reports. Beazley's reinsurance premiums grew 7% while rates too increased by 7%. Overall, the insurer's gross written premiums grew 10% while average rate increased by 3% across all portfolios.
