U.K.-based insurer Beazley P.L.C. has launched a digital-only insurance policy providing event organizers protection against extreme weather, City A.M. reported. The new product – Weather Guard – also provides retailers cover for weather-related sales promotions. The digital policy can be accessed via a mobile device which describes the policy details such as how it would be triggered, the insured amount and any deductible.
