BI’s Article search uses Boolean search capabilities. If you are not familiar with these principles, here are some quick tips.

To search specifically for more than one word, put the search term in quotation marks. For example, “workers compensation”. This will limit your search to that combination of words.

To search for a combination of terms, use quotations and the & symbol. For example, “hurricane” & “loss”.

Cyber attacks rise 23% per month

A study by U.S.-based software solutions provider Malwarebytes Inc. found that the average number of cyber attacks increased by 23% per month in Australia in 2017, Business IT reported. Ransomware detections during the first 10 months of 2017 were 62% higher than in 2016. The detections grew to 333,871 in October 2017 from 90,351 in January 2017. The study also found that business-targeted cyber attacks almost doubled since 2016.
