Cyber attacks rise 23% per month
Posted On: Jan. 9, 2018 5:34 AM CSTA study by U.S.-based software solutions provider Malwarebytes Inc. found that the average number of cyber attacks increased by 23% per month in Australia in 2017, Business IT reported. Ransomware detections during the first 10 months of 2017 were 62% higher than in 2016. The detections grew to 333,871 in October 2017 from 90,351 in January 2017. The study also found that business-targeted cyber attacks almost doubled since 2016.
