BI’s Article search uses Boolean search capabilities. If you are not familiar with these principles, here are some quick tips.

To search specifically for more than one word, put the search term in quotation marks. For example, “workers compensation”. This will limit your search to that combination of words.

To search for a combination of terms, use quotations and the & symbol. For example, “hurricane” & “loss”.

Rick Pagnani, chief executive of Bermuda-based Everest Re Group Ltd.'s subsidiary Mt. Logan Re Ltd., said that it has become a "competitive necessity" for insurers and reinsurers to tap capital markets to beef up their capital, Artemis.bm reported. Mr. Pagnani said that having underwriting expertise along with the ability to access the capital markets to be able to create and package a cost-effective products is not a competitive advantage, but more a "competitive necessity" for reinsurers.
