BI’s Article search uses Boolean search capabilities. If you are not familiar with these principles, here are some quick tips.

To search specifically for more than one word, put the search term in quotation marks. For example, “workers compensation”. This will limit your search to that combination of words.

To search for a combination of terms, use quotations and the & symbol. For example, “hurricane” & “loss”.

Insurance Development Forum appoints 14 CEOs to steering committee

Stephen Catlin, chairman of the Insurance Development Forum, has appointed 14 chief executives to the forum's steering committee, The Royal Gazette reported.

These CEOs will apply their expertise to the insurance-related challenges presented by the United Nation's list of sustainable development goals.

The IDF will include the Bank of England's governor Mark Carney and Axis Capital Holdings Ltd.'s president Albert Benchimol, among others.

The committee will work with senior members of The World Bank Group, the U.N., the Financial Stability Board, and other international bodies.
