An electric short-circuit at a garments factory in Gazipur, Bangladesh, sparked off a fire that destroyed goods worth some 2 million Bangladeshi takas ($25,533).

The fire was brought under control after two hours, reported bdnews24.com.

The fire is among the several that have hit the country's readymade garments sector.
