CorVel Corp. has partnered with San Francisco-based digital health company PeerWell Inc. to offer remote care treatment for injured workers, the companies announced in a statement Wednesday.
Through the partnership, clients of Irvine, California-based CorVel will be able to access daily remote care programs through their own devices at home via PeerWell’s musculoskeletal recovery platform. The programs will provide daily lessons to address the specific recovery needs for injured workers and may include physical therapy, life management, nutrition, pain and wellness and health literacy.
Corvel Corp.’s revenue rose in the fourth quarter of 2017, with the company expecting additional revenue benefits from U.S. tax reform.
