BI’s Article search uses Boolean search capabilities. If you are not familiar with these principles, here are some quick tips.

To search specifically for more than one word, put the search term in quotation marks. For example, “workers compensation”. This will limit your search to that combination of words.

To search for a combination of terms, use quotations and the & symbol. For example, “hurricane” & “loss”.

(Reuters) — President Joe Biden Wednesday announced two nominees for the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission.

Jaime Lizárraga has been nominated to fill a Democratic seat currently occupied by commissioner Allison Lee, who has said she plans to leave the agency once a successor is in place.

Mark Uyeda, an SEC staffer who has been temporarily on detail to the Senate Banking Committee, has been tapped for a vacancy created by former Republican commissioner Elad Roisman’s departure in January.

The nominees, who need to be confirmed by the Senate before they can assume office, would bring the five-member commission to full voting capacity.
