BI’s Article search uses Boolean search capabilities. If you are not familiar with these principles, here are some quick tips.
To search specifically for more than one word, put the search term in quotation marks. For example, “workers compensation”. This will limit your search to that combination of words.
To search for a combination of terms, use quotations and the & symbol. For example, “hurricane” & “loss”.
Perhaps in line with its slogan “enjoy life responsibly,” Budweiser Canada is now brewing plans to provide insurance coverage plans, the company announced Tuesday.
Offering a new, modern take on classic insurance plans, the company says Budweiser Insurance will provide “unique coverage opportunities that have been designed around meaningful insights about customer experiences.”
The announcement included little details on offerings, but a Labatt Breweries of Canada spokesman says he understands there will be doubters about this new venture, and explains in a statement why it makes sense for the beer brand.
“Unconventional as insurance may seem, Budweiser is known for putting our customers first. The pandemic opened our eyes to this untapped opportunity, which is aimed at providing better security for Canadians and enabling them to live the life they want.”
He continued, “Jumping into the insurance space allows us to not only create an innovative part of our business, but also shape a customer-centric approach to insurance that is totally ownable for the Budweiser brand. Budweiser Insurance will tap into a specific type of coverage not currently available to Canadians and will help them enjoy a worry-free summer, because Bud’s got your back.”
