Swiss Re Corporate Solutions said Wednesday it has named former Neon Underwriting Ltd. executive Andrew Dougall global head of casualty, effective Feb. 22, 2021.
Mr. Dougall will be responsible for the bespoke casualty portfolio globally and will work with the regional casualty leads. He will also assume the role of head of casualty and financial and professional liability for Europe, the Middle East and Africa.
He will be based in London and report to Kera McDonald, chief underwriting officer bespoke.
Mr. Dougall was most recently deputy active underwriter and head of casualty lines at specialist Lloyd’s of London insurer Neon. He succeeds Daniel Vetter, who has left the company, according to an email from a company spokesman.
Swiss Re Ltd. announced that Pranav Pasricha will succeed Eric Schuh as global head property/casualty solutions of the company’s global reinsurance business unit, effective Aug. 3.
