AIG snags exec from Guy Carpenter

American International Group Inc. on Tuesday named former Guy Carpenter & Co. LLC executive James Nash president and CEO, AIG Japan Holdings KK.
Mr. Nash was most recently CEO of the International Division at Guy Carpenter with responsibility for Asia Pacific, Europe, Middle East and Asia and Latin America. He is expected to join AIG in early 2021, the statement said.
He will be based in Tokyo and will report to Jon Hancock, CEO of International General Insurance.
Mr. Nash will oversee AIG’s operations and subsidiary companies in Japan. He succeeds Robert L. Noddin, who will become non-executive chairman, AIG Japan, until his retirement in 2021.
