BI’s Article search uses Boolean search capabilities. If you are not familiar with these principles, here are some quick tips.

To search specifically for more than one word, put the search term in quotation marks. For example, “workers compensation”. This will limit your search to that combination of words.

To search for a combination of terms, use quotations and the & symbol. For example, “hurricane” & “loss”.

Health of the nation’s Democratic contenders up for debate

In a heated primary season where Democratic presidential candidates are vying for the nomination, policies and experience aren’t the only issues up for debate, The Washington Post reported.

At a debate in Las Vegas this month, former South Bend, Indiana, Mayor Pete Buttigieg said Sen. Bernie Sanders, I-Vermont, needs to disclose “full medical records, do a physical, and release the readout,” The Post reported.

The Sanders campaign responded that demanding greater detail on his health resembles “the kind of smear” that demands for former President Barack Obama’s birth certificate represented, said The Post.

It’s easy to understand why Sen. Sanders is not eager to release more of his health history, because he’s 78 years old and recently had a heart attack, according to The Post. And he’s not alone.

Of the major Democratic candidates, only Sen. Elizabeth Warren of Massachusetts, former Vice President Joe Biden and Sen. Amy Klobuchar of Minnesota have released comprehensive medical reports, The Post said.
