Lockton Cos. LLC has recruited Willis Towers Watson PLC’s cyber risk chief, Anthony Dagostino, to lead its cyber risk and technology practice.
Based in New York, Mr. Dagostino, who was named global head of cyber risk at Willis Towers Watson in 2017, will be executive vice president, global cyber and technology practice leader at Lockton, the Kansas City, Missouri-based brokerage said in a statement Thursday.
Lockton's cyber and technology practice leader role has been vacant since Ben Beeson left in 2017 to join cyber technology start-up Arceo Labs Inc.
Prior to joining Willis Towers Watson in 2016, Mr. Dagostino spent 12 years as a cyber insurance underwriter, first at Hartford Financial Services Group Inc. before joining Chubb Ltd. in 2005.
The move is one of several high-profile personnel moves at brokers over the past several months. Most recently, Willis Towers Watson poached three senior financial institutions brokers from rival Marsh LLC.
Willis Towers Watson P.L.C. on Thursday named Jeremy Wall chairman of global FINEX and head of FINEX for all regions outside of North America, along with several other new appointments.
