BI’s Article search uses Boolean search capabilities. If you are not familiar with these principles, here are some quick tips.

To search specifically for more than one word, put the search term in quotation marks. For example, “workers compensation”. This will limit your search to that combination of words.

To search for a combination of terms, use quotations and the & symbol. For example, “hurricane” & “loss”.

Georgia insurance brokers merge

Atlanta-based Sterling Risk Advisors Inc. and Savannah, Georgia-based Seacrest Partners Inc. said Wednesday that they plan to merge and operate as Sterling Seacrest Partners Inc., effective July 1.

Terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Sterling Seacrest Partners will employ over 150 insurance agents and service team members with six offices in Atlanta; Savannah; Hilton Head, South Carolina; Columbus, Georgia; and Little Rock, Arkansas, the brokers said in a statement.

The merger will “give clients, insurance carriers and employees an option outside the public brokers and private equity owned platforms,” according to the statement.
