Bonnita (Bonnie) Boone is an insurance executive. She has recently joined J. P West Inc of New York as an Executive Vice President. She will work with leadership to develop markets, operational processes, sales / growth, and overall corporate strategy. She will work to expand JP West into large risk management account sector. Develop strategies that assist the clients in this complicated environment we operate in today. Bonnie has over 38 years of experience in the insurance industry as a broker and underwriter. Prior to J. P. West she worked for Gallagher as an Executive Vice, producer, and Client Executive, (for five years) In 2017 she worked for Marsh NYC, where she sat on the national executive committee for its healthcare practice. Prior to that, she was with Alliant Insurances Services where she oversaw healthcare and casualty for the Chicago and New York offices. She also held a national position with Willis for more than a decade and worked with 280 retail offices on a global basis to produce business, market, and set strategy for the health care industry and casualty business. She chaired product line/industry segments for long-term care, managed care, and HPL (integrated delivery systems), among others. She has placed reinsurance for some of the largest captive programs in the country.
Crystal R. Brown joined TDC Specialty Underwriters, Inc. (TDCSU) in the fall of 2019 as Vice President, Hospitals Underwriting. Crystal brings over 30 years of underwriting experience to this role, along with deep industry knowledge of the E&S market. Prior to joining TDCSU, she led the national underwriting platform for the nation’s largest physician-owned medical malpractice insurer, The Doctors Company. She oversaw policy development, underwriting portfolio management, alternative risk solutions, underwriting infrastructure and systems development administration, continuous improvement, due diligence support, and talent development. Crystal also served as healthcare zone leader for CNA, where she oversaw underwriting at 10 branch offices that focused on the healthcare segment. She is a graduate of the Advanced Leadership Program at Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University. She earned a master’s in public administration (MPA) in Health Services Management from New York University, and a bachelor’s degree in English from Amherst College. She is a member of PLUS and is a Women to Watch Foundation Board member, prior Ambassador, and 2018 Business Insurance Women to Watch Honoree.

Caroline J. Clouser, CPCU is Executive Vice President for Chubb’s Healthcare Industry Practice, a position to which she was appointed in March 2016.
In this position, Ms. Clouser has responsibility for leading and overseeing the Industry Practice’s broad suite of insurance coverages and services across the U.S. and Canada for hospitals, long term care, managed care and outpatient care facilities. As part of this role, she also oversees the underwriting, marketing, and day-to-day operations of Chubb’s Medical Professional Liability line of business for both wholesale and retail distribution channels and across small, middle and large customer groups. Ms. Clouser’s role also extends globally, as she oversees Chubb’s Medical Liability Product Board.
With more than 20 years of experience in the medical malpractice industry, Ms. Clouser has experience working in the areas of claims, underwriting and compliance as well as leading impactful teams. Ms. Clouser joined Chubb (formerly ACE Group) in 2002 as a founding member of the company’s Medical Liability division. While at Chubb, she has had extensive involvement in underwriting management responsibilities including regional leadership, compliance and international market development. During her tenure at Chubb, she has worked in organization’s headquarter office in Zurich, Switzerland, leading the expansion of the Life Sciences capability globally. She has also held the role of Chief Underwriting and Compliance officer, where she oversaw underwriting execution of the Medical Risk and Life Sciences divisions.
Prior to joining Chubb, Ms. Clouser was Assistant Vice President of Underwriting for CNA HealthPro. While at CNA, Caroline was responsible for the medical facility business in 22 states, the physician segment nationally as well as managing the regional underwriting team. Ms. Clouser started her career at Continental Insurance Company as a claim adjuster for their medical professional liability division.
Ms. Clouser received a Bachelor of Science degree in Human Development from the University of Connecticut, and a Masters in Business Administration from New York University’s Stern School of Business. She has earned the Associate in Claims and holds the Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter designations.
Ms. Clouser is frequently published in various insurance and healthcare industry trade publications on topics related to risk management, current and emerging trends and safety protocols in the healthcare industry.
Josephine Copeland has over 20 years of professional experience in workers’ compensation and group health managed care services, nearly a decade of which was spent overseeing product management and strategy.
As senior vice president of managed care product design and strategy, Copeland leads Sedgwick’s efforts to develop innovative, state-of-the-art managed care and medical cost containment solutions that drive optimal outcomes for clients and claimants. She joined Sedgwick in April 2021.
Prior to Sedgwick, Copeland served in senior leadership roles at top insurance claim and medical management services companies around the U.S., overseeing departments in clinical claims management, managed care operations, and product management.
Copeland is known across the industry for her breadth and depth of expertise and has received notable accolades for her achievements. In 2019, she was recognized as a Business Insurance Women to Watch honoree and served on panels at the BI Women to Watch Diversity & Inclusion event and National Workers’ Compensation & Disability Conference.

A veteran of the captive insurance industry, Anne Marie Towle leads the Global Captive Solutions team at Hylant.
She has over 25 years of experience with diverse projects and has worked with captives and other alternative risk transfer vehicles in many key onshore and offshore domiciles. Prior to joining Hylant, Anne Marie was an Executive Vice President with JLT, and formerly a Senior Consultant with Willis Towers Watson for over 7 years. Anne Marie also spent time as a Senior Manager in public accounting and 10 years in taxation, where she provided consultancy services to captive owners.
Anne Marie managed client projects through feasibility and implementation processes in structuring captives and manage their accounting and tax compliance functions. Before that, for over 6 years, Anne Marie worked in private industry in the insurance tax departments of several Fortune 500 insurance and financial institution companies.
Throughout her career, Anne Marie has been closely involved in captive insurance organizations at the local, state and national level. She serves on the Board of Directors for the Vermont Captive Insurance Association (VCIA), Vice-Chair for the North Carolina Captive Insurance Association (NCCIA), and the International Center for Captive Insurance Education (ICCIE); the curriculum committee for ICCIE and an instructor for ICCIE courses; and the conference committees of the (2017 Chair) VCIA, Captive Insurance Companies Association (CICA), World Captive Forum (WCF) and the South Carolina Captive Insurance Association (SCCIA).

Dawn Watkins is Chief Risk Officer for the Los Angeles Unified School District (LAUSD), the second largest school district in the nation.
Ms. Watkins has over 30 years of risk management experience in both the private and public sectors. In 2004, she joined the Risk Management Division of LAUSD where she has held progressively responsible positions. Since 2006, she has led the LAUSD disability management program which includes workers’ compensation, absence management, reasonable accommodations, return to work, and protected leaves for approximately 70,000 employees.
Ms. Watkins is the recipient of the 2017 “Women to Watch” award issued by Business Insurance and the 2008, “Risk Innovator” award issued by Risk and Insurance. In 2008, while under her leadership LAUSD received the Risk and Insurance “Theodore Roosevelt” award for excellence in workers’ compensation and disability management in the public sector.

Kim Wilkerson is a Senior Vice President and Head of Claims for AXAXL in Bermuda. Kim joined XL Group in Bermuda in 2007 and served as General Counsel of XL Insurance (Bermuda) Ltd before transitioning to the Head of Claims role in 2015.
She has more than 30 years of experience in the insurance industry, including 15 years in the brokerage area. In addition to holding the Chartered Property & Casualty Underwriters (CPCU) designation, Kim is admitted as a Barrister & Attorney in England & Wales and Bermuda, and is an Associate of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators. During her career, Kim has worked in both Bermuda and London where she provided legal services for XL’s Lloyds syndicates. Kim is a Contributing Author to “The Law of Reinsurance in England & Wales” 2nd & 3rd Editions. She has written articles for Bermuda Insurance publications and has spoken at industry events such as RIMS, the Bermuda Captive Conference, Claims Litigation Management Association and Bermuda Insurance Market Conferences.
In 2014, Kim was one of 25 women selected out of more than 400 industry professionals nominated from around the world to appear on Business Insurance’s ‘Women to Watch’ List.
In February 2016, Kim was appointed to Bermuda’s Senate where she served as Progressive Labour Party Shadow Minister for Economic Development until the dissolution of Parliament in June 2017. Holly Meidl is the Senior Vice President, and Chief Risk Officer for Ascension. In her role, Ms. Meidl is responsible for the Ascension ministry risk management program, insurance operations, associate risk, claims, litigation and clinical risk management, risk analytics, Ascension Insurance, representing USH&L, Automated Benefit Services and Seton Health Plan, as well as Certitude, a commercial insurance solution for affiliated providers of Ascension. Prior to joining Ascension, Ms. Meidl served as Senior Vice President, North American Healthcare, for Allied World Assurance Company, responsible for the North American Medical Professional Liability underwriting business based in Bermuda. Carolina Klint was named CEO North West Region of Marsh Continental Europe in August 2017 and is responsible for Marsh’s operations in the Nordic countries, Belgium, Luxembourg and the Netherlands, and for driving client value by delivering Marsh’s world-class risk advisory and strategic services to the growing client base in the region. Refilwe Moletsane in her over 23 years of Insurance Career has served in various portfolios including Deputy Chief Executive Officer of the South African Insurance Association. She joined AIG South Africa in July 2010 as the Country Compliance Officer. In 2013 she was appointed as the Compliance Leader for Africa responsible for (South Africa, Kenya and Uganda), the role which was redefined to Head of Compliance – Africa Zone in 2014. Prior to joining AIG, Ms. Moletsane served her reign at the South African Insurance Association (“SAIA”), where she served as Deputy Chief Executive Officer and was responsible for insurance industry’s Motor Insurance, Legal and Compliance. She was also instrumental in the insurance industry’s legislation and regulations debates under the Parliamentary Portfolio Committee of Finance until June 2010. Before joining SAIA 2007, Ms. Moletsane held various portfolios in Hollard Insurance including, Product Development, Account Management (including sales and operations) and Project Management under the office of the Bank and Motor Division Managing Director. She is currently appointed as an alternative Board Member on the SAIA Board.
