The Business Insurance Women to Watch Awards is the only recognition program that celebrates leading women from every facet of the commercial insurance industry. Since its start as a recognition program in 2006, it has grown into an educational program aimed at the advancement of women in commercial insurance, risk management and related fields.

A professional development and networking conference was added to the Business Insurance Women to Watch recognition program in 2011 to address the advantages of achieving greater gender diversity in leadership roles. An Advisory Board of past honorees, diversity experts, and insurance industry leaders guide the development of the conference content.


The BI Women to Watch Foundation Supports Gamma Iota Sigma
The Business Insurance Women to Watch Foundation is proud to partner with Gamma Iota Sigma (GIS), a 501(c)(3) organization the promotes, encourages, and sustains academic interest in careers spanning the insurance industry. With a growing network of 5,000 students and 35,000 alumni from over 97 colleges and universities, GIS leads the sustainable growth and diversification of the insurance industry's talent pipeline. This partnership will provide future female leaders with access to industry and GIS resources and enables new, supportive programming.

enJoie a Curated Wine Experience
As part of the Women to Watch Foundation's mission to support Gamma Iota Sigma, there will be a virtual wine tasting fundraiser on December 15 from 7:00 - 8:30pm EST. Attendees can choose between three tasting experiences led by Judia Black, Founder and CEO of enJoie, who has curated an experience featuring premium wines from the Boisset Collection of over 25 wineries in California and France. We hope to see you there!
