Hims & Hers, a telehealth platform, announced it will offer a compounded version of semaglutide, the active ingredient in popular weight loss drugs like Ozempic and Wegovy, at a significantly lower cost starting at $199 per month, Quartz reports. This move comes amid high demand and limited access to GLP-1 medications, and despite FDA warnings about compounded semaglutides.
