Employer adoption of ICHRAs surges

Employer adoption of individual coverage health reimbursement arrangements has surged by 29% since 2023, according to a report from the HRA Council, Becker’s Payer Issues reports. Notably, ICHRA adoption among employers with 50 or more employees increased by 84%, and 83% of surveyed employers could only offer health benefits through ICHRAs or qualifying small employer HRAs.
