Saudi Arabian insurers see 48% rise in net profits

Data published by the Badri Management Consultancy showed that the combined net profits of insurers in Saudi Arabia increased by 48% year-on-year to 879 million Saudi Arabian riyals ($234 million) in the first quarter of this year, Middle East Insurance Review. Overall insurance revenue of local insurers grew by 21% year-on-year to SAR16 billion.
