BI’s Article search uses Boolean search capabilities. If you are not familiar with these principles, here are some quick tips.

To search specifically for more than one word, put the search term in quotation marks. For example, “workers compensation”. This will limit your search to that combination of words.

To search for a combination of terms, use quotations and the & symbol. For example, “hurricane” & “loss”.

Comedian hits notes on health insurance struggles

With the high monthly premiums, copays, coinsurances and deductibles common in health insurance packages, finally trying to find an in-network specialist is nothing to sing about.

One health insurance consumer, however, went a capella on his Instagram over his struggle to secure an appointment with an ophthalmologist.

Tarek Ziad sings, in a musical rant that has since gone viral with 119,000 “likes” and counting, and has been reported by numerous media outlets, “so you go online and you look at all the ophthalmologists and you call them one by one and you go through 29 ophthalmologists and every single one either doesn’t answer your call or they don’t actually take your medical group. They say, ‘We’ve never heard of that medical group.’”

Viewers said they can commiserate with the man who has posted only 62 other times on Instagram – not exactly a high performer — and describes himself as a comedian and aspiring actor.

At least one commenter has high hopes for Mr. Ziad: “You’re going places. Not the ophthalmologist, but places.”
