Alliant names agribusiness executive

Alliant Insurance Services Inc. Wednesday named Timothy Folk executive vice president, Alliant Specialty, in the firm’s agribusiness industry vertical.
Mr. Folk will focus on serving food and beverage manufacturers and distributors and have a health care focus on aging services and hospitals and health systems, Alliant said in a statement.
He is based in Philadelphia and reports to Peter Arkley, who heads Alliant’s property/casualty brokerage, according to an email from a spokeswoman.
Mr. Folk was most recently an investor and board member with consumer health care products company WETHRIVV LLC. Prior to that, he had been an executive vice president with Lockton Cos. LLC and before that a managing director with Beecher Carlson Insurance Services LLC.
